The official prequel to Marvel's Wolverine confirms Insomniac is making a few major tweaks to Logan's backstory. Insomniac's Wolverine video game follows an early version of Logan, but it isn't yet another retelling of the Weapon X procedure that gave him his adamantium skeleton.
