Why Sam Jones III's Pete Ross Left After Smallville Season 3

Pete Ross was a beloved character in the early seasons of Smallville before suddenly leaving the series. Played by Sam Jones III, the DC Universe character was drawn from the Superboy comic books all the way back to 1961, where he played the role of one of Clark Kent's childhood best friends.
