You see it all the time. People queuing outside a shop at 5am for a 20% off sale on stuff they don't need. They think they're saving money. But they're not. They're spending money they didn't plan to spend, on things they wouldn't have bought at full price. That's not saving, that's spending with a discount.
Value shopping is different. It's knowing what something is worth to
