The EU passed its AI Act in March, but enforcement is still years away. Meanwhile companies are shipping products that rewrite how people work. No regulator has a plan for what happens when a model can code better than a junior developer. Culture is shifting too. People are bored of the hype. They want tools that work, not another chatbot that says sorry. The real story this week is that nobody is in charge. The market moves faster than any committee. And the people who should be asking hard questions are still arguing about definitions. That will not end well. Paul
